Here are some photographs taken at night. I decided to desaturate the original photos to see if they would have more impact without color. I believe both have more impact desaturated. The photo with the sidewalk and benches becomes more mysterious when it is desaturated. The contrast between the highlights and midtones in the foreground and the shadown and midtones in the background is powerful in the photo of the road leading down the hill.
